Sandi Manhão - Senior Level - Advanced Pole / Beginners Aerial Hoop

Sandi ManhaoSandi has always enjoyed pushing herself with new forms of fitness so when she heard about pole dancing she decided to give it a try. She started pole dancing in May 2013 and immediately fell in love with it. She says that every new trick she learns brings her joy, excitement and a sense of achievement.

She loves the fact that Pole Fitness is a hard sport, while also bringing out femininity and building confidence. She says, she is still blown away by all of the amazing pole dancers out there and her only regret is that she didn’t start earlier.

Sandi has been involved in gym, fitness, dance and yoga classes in the past and she has always been interested in dance and other art forms related to body expression, however she never had the chance to take them seriously. Having had the opportunity to become a Pole coach in 2014 was challenging but very rewarding, she gets to do something she loves, share it with other people and see them change over time.

Pat Wong - Intermediate Pole

Pat Wong

Pat Wong was born in Macau and has been living here for most of her life. She always has been eager to try out new things. But pole dancing was different: when she started dancing in June 2013, it was love at first sight. Even if she goes dancing every day of the week, she feels like she can never get enough of it. Not only is pole dancing physically challenging, it is also very aesthetical and boosts her self-confidence. Pat qualified as a Beginner Pole trainer though Spin City Training in summer 2015, and then as an Intermediate trainer in September 2017.

Pat has no specific dancing background. She thinks that joy and will-power are the most important factors to become a pole dancer. She thinks that if she can be a pole dancer then everyone can be a pole dancer.

Josephine Hon - Trainee Pole & Aerial Silks

Josephine Hon

Josephine Hon used to be an exercise virgin working in the stressful marketing sector for over six years. Two years ago, she realised a change was much needed to balance her life priorities. On watching a pole dancing commercial on TV one day, she found this concept incredibly appealing, elegant, sexy and a much needed challenge at this point in her life. She decided to take the plunge to enter this new world and has never looked back since.

Josephine has faced numerous challenges in the last few years - namely the lack of strength. By previously not engaging in 'hardcore exercises', she started training with supplementary activities like pilates, street workout and crossfit to build up strength. She has since gained a lot of confidence as well as body strength and flexibility. She strongly believes in pole dancing being a full body and mind workout from head to toes. Every trick and new move gives you a brand new sense of joy and satisfaction beyond words and one will not fully understand until they take the swing.
